Our heroine crosses the threshold from childhood to adulthood by going through a magical portal. Imaγia is the name for the journey to the time of witch-hunts and the return to the present with all the scars it has left on our bodies. Imaγia is also the name of our heroine, who carries within her the power, the sorrow and the affection of humanity. Imaγia – hunting witches is a multidisciplinary, non verbal, visual theatre and puppetry piece with elements of Balkan folklore music and contemporary dance. The ensemble brings forth themes and practices of womanhood, ritual and collective remembrance

Thank you. So many different emotions. Lots of power, lots of vulnerability, joy, sadness. The noises are amazing. Some bits are pretty hardcore but they make the light bits so much lighter! And the end is full of hope. She is amazing - Imaγia and so are you all. Female solidarity is the best!
I was waiting for Imaγia to come back alive and when she did I was relieved and happy. That’s when I realised how connected I was to her. Thank you for your attention to beauty.
